Why Alavira exists.
Alavira is built and maintained by a small team in Dallas, Texas. We started this because the personal-finance category had grown loud: every app pushing notifications, gamifying spending, or trying to replace your spreadsheet. We wanted the opposite: one clear read on your money, once a week, on your terms.
We don’t link to your bank. You upload statements when you want to, and we tell you the single thing worth knowing. The rest of the product is the quiet tracker that keeps the picture sharp between uploads: trends, recurring, payoff plans, alerts. That’s the entire pitch.
What we stand for
Three commitments. We treat them as real promises, not marketing copy.
We don’t sell your data.
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. The only sub-processors we use are the ones we list on our Privacy page: payments, hosting, AI, sign-in. Each one has a job that helps us run the service.
We won’t pivot to ads or referral kickbacks.
Alavira is a paid product when you outgrow the free tier. The math has to work on the subscription. We don’t want a future where recommending a credit card to you pays our bills.
We’d rather have 10,000 careful users than 100,000 indifferent ones.
We build for the person who reads every email and wants their money to feel calm. If that’s you, we’re built for you. If it isn’t, that’s fine. There are louder tools.

Email is the right channel for everything we have to say. If you want to ask, suggest, or push back: support@alavira.app.
We don’t run social media. It’s a deliberate choice.
